Overview

Dealnado (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a rental property analysis tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your data.

By using Dealnado, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you have questions, contact us at hello@dealnado.io.

Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address. We support email-based authentication (magic links and password reset flows) and Google OAuth sign-in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google to create or link your account; we do not store your Google password. We do not collect your name, phone number, or payment card information directly — paid plans and billing are processed by Stripe, Inc. on our behalf.

Property analyses

When you save a deal analysis, we store the data you enter — including property address, purchase price, down payment, loan details, rental income estimates, expense figures, closing costs, and one-time costs (such as repairs and improvements) — in your account. If you use the My Portfolio feature, we also store ownership details you provide, such as purchase date, estimated property value, and equity-related information.

Usage data

We collect anonymized usage data via Vercel Analytics, including page views, navigation patterns, and performance metrics. This data does not identify you personally and is used to improve the platform.

Feedback

If you submit feedback through the in-app feedback tool, we store the content of your feedback (bug reports, ideas, or general comments) along with your account ID and a timestamp.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Dealnado platform
  • Authenticate your account and protect against unauthorized access
  • Save and sync your property analyses across devices
  • Track credit usage for AI-powered features
  • Respond to support requests and feedback
  • Send transactional and lifecycle emails (authentication, welcome emails, trial status notifications, and subscription-related communications)
  • Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (conversion tracking)

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

Dealnado uses the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data transmitted to them.

Supabase

Your account information and saved analyses are stored in Supabase, a cloud database platform. Supabase processes data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. Supabase Privacy Policy →

Anthropic (Claude AI)

AI-powered features — including expense estimates, market cap rate analysis, AI Deal Briefs, AI Chat, and AI-estimated market rents (used as an automatic fallback when RentCast has no comparable rental data) — send relevant property data to Anthropic's API. This may include property address, bedroom and bathroom count, square footage, and financial metrics you have entered. Anthropic processes this data solely to generate your response. We do not send your email address or account details to Anthropic. Anthropic Privacy Policy →

RentCast

Property detail lookups and market rent comparables are powered by RentCast. When you use these features, the property address is sent to RentCast to retrieve publicly available property data and rental market information. If RentCast returns no comparable rental data for a property (due to lack of market coverage or a service error), Dealnado automatically falls back to an AI-estimated market rent via Anthropic; no additional credit is charged, and the fallback is disclosed within the platform. RentCast Privacy Policy →

Apify

Zillow listing URL imports are powered by Apify. When you use the URL import feature, the Zillow listing URL you provide is sent to Apify to retrieve publicly available property information (such as address, beds, baths, square footage, and list price). Apify processes this data on our behalf to fulfill your request. Apify Privacy Policy →

Mapbox

Address autocomplete suggestions are powered by Mapbox. When you type an address into the search field, partial address strings are sent to Mapbox to generate suggestions. Mapbox Privacy Policy →

Stripe

Paid plan subscriptions (Investor, Pro) and one-time Credit Bump purchases are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you complete a purchase, you interact with Stripe's hosted checkout. Dealnado does not store your payment card details; Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI DSS standards. We receive confirmation of successful payments and basic billing status (e.g., active subscription, plan type) from Stripe to manage your account. Stripe Privacy Policy →

Google (OAuth and Ads)

We use Google OAuth to offer Google sign-in as an authentication option. If you sign in with Google, Google processes your authentication request and shares your email address and basic profile with us to create or link your account. We also use Google Ads tags on the platform to measure advertising effectiveness, including conversion events such as account sign-up. Google may use this data in accordance with its own policies. Google Privacy Policy →

Loops

We use Loops to send transactional and lifecycle emails — including welcome emails, trial status notifications, and subscription confirmation emails. When you create an account, your email address and plan tier are sent to Loops. When your subscription changes — including plan upgrades, downgrades, or cancellations — your updated plan status is synced to Loops so that email communications reflect your current account state. Loops processes this data on our behalf and does not use it for its own marketing purposes. When you delete your account, your contact is removed from Loops as part of the deletion process. Loops Privacy Policy →

Vercel

Dealnado is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes web traffic and collects anonymized analytics data. Vercel Privacy Policy →

Cookies

Dealnado uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and remember your preferences (such as light/dark mode). We may also use cookies for analytics purposes. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings or our cookie consent banner.

Data Retention

We retain your account information and saved analyses for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Your contact record in Loops is removed immediately as part of the account deletion process.

Anonymized analytics data (via Vercel Analytics) may be retained longer as it is not associated with your identity.

Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@dealnado.io.

California residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information.

Children's Privacy

Dealnado is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Dealnado after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
